Dear Partners in the Gospel of Christ,
Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We are delighted to
share with you the latest updates and prayer requests from our ministry.
The ministry of under-shepherds and teachers is not simply a job. Rather, it is a vocation,
the answering of a specific call from God. It is the highest calling in Christian service. As a
young man, F. B. Meyer shared his call to the ministry in a letter to a friend:
"For friendship's sake, I do not like to conceal from you, or in fact from anyone else, the
decision to which I have come. So to be frank, I have decided my future course and am,
with help from above, going to be a minister of the Gospel. Now I can imagine your
astonishment, but it is a fact. I need only add that it appears to me to be the noblest aim
in life to live entirely devoted to the one object of bringing others to know Him who has
accomplished so much for us."
Updates and Prayer Requests:
1. School of Evangelism in PNG, Vanuatu & Solomon Islands:
- We have launched a School of Evangelism that meets one week per month in Papua
New Guinea, Vanuatu, and the Solomon Islands. This is a new ministry Please pray for the
students and teachers as they commit to this vital work of spreading the Gospel. Please
pray that the Lord would provide more teachers and people that may be able to partner
in this ministry. It will work in conjunction with the Fiji Bible College (CTEF).
2. Pastors Conference in Suva:
- We recently held a pastors conference in Suva with an average attendance of 175
people per day over the five days. We had teachers that joined us from America and
Australia (Dr. Paul Felix and his dear wife, Marline. It was a time of great blessing and
encouragement. Pray that the teachings and fellowship will bear fruit in the lives and
ministries of all who attended.
3. College Second Semester:
- The second semester has begun at the College of Theology and Evangelism Fiji.
Please pray for our students as they study, particularly our fourth-year students who are
working hard to complete their thesis alongside their regular coursework.
4. Vocational Students Studying Agriculture:
- Pray for our vocational students, especially those completing their second year in
agricultural studies. They are not only learning valuable skills but our hope is that they
also grow in their faith through weekly chapel and courses on the Book of Romans.
5. Dan & Grace Filming the Ministry:
- Dan and Grace are currently filming the ministry, capturing the breadth and history of
our work. Pray for their safety, and that the final product will glorify God and help explain
what the Lord has done and is doing in Fiji and the South Pacific.
6. Provision of a Van:
- We urgently need a van for our ministry. This is a crucial need, and we trust in the
Lord's perfect timing to provide. Please join us in prayer for this provision.
As we seek to continue to serve and follow God’s calling, we are deeply grateful for your
ongoing prayers and support. Your partnership in prayer is vital to the work we are doing,
and we are encouraged by your faithfulness. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Thank
you for standing with us in prayer as we seek to fulfil the Great Commission in the South
Pacific.
